(January 19, 2010) - AirMed Asia, Asia’s only CAMTS and EURAMI accredited air ambulance, announced today the official operational launch of its base in Beijing, marking the second base for the company in Asia and the first in mainland China.
AirMed Asia recently entered an
air ambulance joint venture with Asia Air Medical Beijing to bring its services into mainland China. The Beijing base houses a fully staffed Beechjet 400 medical aircraft and personnel. The aircraft is Chinese registered, providing access to most domestic airports in China and a centralized geo-graphic proximity for all transports. AirMed Asia will staff the aircraft with medical teams and utilize its highly acclaimed 24/7 dispatch and medical coordination system to guarantee the highest quality of patient care and transportation.
AirMed Asia’s other base of operations is in Hong Kong and features a long-range Hawker 800 medical jet.
