Premier air ambulance service offers worldwide medical evacuations at low cost
Whether taking a trip around the world or to a neighboring state, an AirMed Traveler membership may be the most important item travelers take with them. As an AirMed Traveler member, if you are sick or injured while traveling, AirMed will get you home to your family, your doctors, your local hospital. It’s as simple as that. AirMed’s coverage also includes transport to specialty hospitals and clinics within the United States. Members may also speak to AirMed’s Medical Services Hotline Representatives 24 hours every day to locate appropriate medical care and English-speaking physicians while traveling abroad.
AirMed members who require hospitalization more than 150 miles from their homes will receive bedside-to-bedside transportation from a highly-trained medical and flight crew to the hospital of their choosing. There are no co-pays, no claim forms, no nearest appropriate facility restrictions, no medical necessity requirements, no financial limits, and no out-of-pocket costs that are common with most travel insurance or premium card services. Members do not even pay deductibles and receive up to two transports per year.

Annual AirMed Traveler memberships start at $250 for individuals and $350 for families (two adults and up to five dependents.) Special membership packages are also available to students 15 to 26 years of age who are enrolled in accredited programs of international study. Customized pricing is available to organizations or groups. Special pricing for corporations, associations and payroll deduction plans are also available.
