As soon as AirMed is contacted, we immediately begin all necessary coordination of your medical, security or transport needs. Should you need a medical evacuation, an AirMed medical transport specialist coordinates the following steps:
Serve as a liaison between attending and receiving physicians, collect medical data, draft arrival and departure schedule
Transferring facility: Medical report, physician consent to release
Receiving facility: Verify receiving physician,verify bed assignment

From our Birmingham base, AirMed provides worldwide service to our customers utilizing two Raytheon Hawker 800 air ambulance aircraft. In addition to the standard gaseous oxygen systems used in most medical jet aircraft, these long-range aircraft are also equipped with a liquid oxygen system allowing longer transport of ventilator-dependent patients without the need to replenish on-board oxygen supply.
Our Cincinnati base provides support to our valued partners in the Mid-West as well as having operational capabilities to perform air medical transports throughout the U.S. The Beechjet 400 provides an interior set up ideal for short to mid-range transports, with seating capacity of up to 5. In addition to providng support to air medical transport porgrams, the aircraft is ideal for assisting with organ procurement and transplant missions as well.
